The CV GRAN CANARIA HIDRAMAR, whose initials J.A.V. stand for Jóvenes Aficionados al Voleibol, is a sporting society dedicated to the world of volleyball, created in 1988 in the old School 29 de Abril in the Schamann quarter, in the municipal district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain).
Furthermore, for 17 years, the CV Gran Canaria Hidramar has a team of women's Super League, the IBSA CV CCO 7 Palmas, in the highest category of the Spanish league.
In the 2020-21 year the first success in the championship arrives; in the following year, in addition to winning the Spanish Super Cup, it debuted in the Champions League, but was already eliminated in the first round of the qualifying phase. In the 2022-23 season he won his second championship.
